The Purpose of the Sherman County Development Committee
The Sherman County Development Community is a non-profit organization supported by both public and private funds. The SCDC strives to implement regional economic development plans to reduce poverty, address changing land and water use, and improve the quality of life for residents.

Our members come from a variety of service, farming and ranching industries. We strive to attract new business to the Sherman County area, and to assist those businesses that are already here. The SCDC works to enhance Sherman County as a better community in which to live and work.
